We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy is intended to provide you with information about how your personally identifiable information (any information that can be used to identify a specific individual, such as first and last name, street address, telephone number, fax number or email address) ("Personal Information") and other information is collected and used by us. You agree to this Privacy Policy in its entirety when you: (1) access or use the Website; or (2) apply, sign up, register for, or inquire about, any of Producer’s workshops, seminars, courses or events (collectively, the "Events"). Please note that this Privacy Policy only applies to information collected online through this Website or in connection with any Events or any inquiries, registrations, applications or sign-ups in connection therewith, and does not apply to Personal Information collected from any other source, website, or in any other manner.
What types of Personal Information does Producer collect and how does Producer use it?
The Website will not collect Personal information about you except when knowingly provided by you (or as otherwise described below). The Personal Information that we collect is generally limited to the Personal Information that you provide in connection with your application, sign-up and/or registration for, and/or inquiry about, an Event. The Personal Information that may be collected in connection with your application, sign-up, registration and/or inquiry includes, but is not limited to, your email address, full name, street address, telephone number and fax number.
In order to effectuate your Registration for our Event entitled "The Process: A Mentoring Weekend with Preston Bailey and Marcy Blum" (the "Process Workshop"), we, or our Process Workshop contributor, Marcy L. Blum Associates Inc. ("MLB"), will collect your credit card information, as described more fully below. If you wish to register for the Process Workshop, you will first be required to complete and submit through the Website an application for the Process Workshop (which such completed application will require certain Personal Information and non-Personal Information) (the "Application"). Once we have received your properly completed and submitted Application, we may share your Personal Information and non-Personal Information, as contained in your completed Application, with MLB, and we or a representative of MLB may contact you to obtain your credit card information for the purpose of effectuating your payment, through PayPal, of the $2,500 deposit for the Process Workshop. (Please note that your registration for the Process Workshop will not be effective unless and until PayPal has validated and confirmed the transaction.) At our discretion, the balance of payment of the registration fee for the Process Workshop may either be charged automatically to your credit card, through PayPal, on or about the date on which such balance is due, or we or a representative of MLB may contact you to again obtain your credit card information for the purpose of effectuating your payment, through PayPal, of the balance of the registration fee. Credit card information supplied by you as described in this paragraph will only be utilized in order to effectuate your registration for the Process Workshop.
At the time of your application, sign-up, registration and/or inquiry for the Process Workshop, we may also collect certain non-Personal Information, such as, but not limited to, the name of your company and your years and area of experience.
We may use Personal Information to communicate with you regarding registration, current and/or future Events, products and/or services offered by Producer (and/or our affiliates), updates regarding Producer’s (and/or our affiliates’) business(es), media or other events relating to Producer (and/or our affiliates), information regarding Producer’s other websites (and/or those of our affiliates), and other information we think you might find of interest. As used in this Privacy Policy, the term "affiliates" means companies controlled or owned by us, or companies that control us, or are under common control with us.
We also may use Personal Information to ask for your input to help in our research about our Events, or to inform you about new areas of, or other changes or improvements to, the Website, or to inform you about contests, sweepstakes, raffles, games and/or similar promotions on or through this Website and/or Producer’s other websites (and/or those of our affiliates).
In addition, we may use Personal Information to communicate with you regarding our Event contributors (such as, but not limited to, MLB), including, without limitation, information regarding such parties’ websites, products, services and/or events offered by such parties and/or media relating to such parties.
We also may use Personal Information to manage the Website’s interactive functionality and help us improve and enhance the Website experience for all visitors.
Please note that you may opt out of receiving future communications from us at any time by following the procedure outlined in the section below entitled "What are my "opt-out" choices?". However, even if you have opted out of receiving future communications from us, when you provide us with your email address, cell phone number, home telephone number or fax number, we, or our affiliates, or our Event contributors (including but not limited to MLB) may contact you through the same (including, without limitation, via email, phone call, text messaging and/or facsimile) regarding Event registration, emergency situations relating to Events, Event updates and/or future Events. Further, when you submit an inquiry to us, even if you have opted out of receiving future communications from us, we, or our affiliates, or our Event contributors (including but not limited to MLB) may contact you to follow up on such inquiry.
Does Producer collect any other information about visitors to the Website?
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the Website, we may collect and analyze certain non-personally identifiable information, in aggregate form ("Aggregate Information"). When you visit the Website, we may automatically collect various types of technical information from you. The type of information that is automatically collected by Producer can include (but is not limited to) date and time of access of the Website, the Internet Protocol address of the computer that you are using, the domain and host from which you access the Internet, your browser software and operating system, which website you visited before arriving at the Website and the website you link to when you leave the Website. This information is tracked in order to analyze trends, administer the Website, track users' movements in the aggregate and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. The information tracked via log files is not linked to personally identifiable information.
We use "cookies" on the Website. Cookies are small data files that the Website places on the hard drive of a Website visitor’s computer, to enable Website visitors to more easily communicate and interact with the Website and to provide us with important information on how Website visitors use the Website. We may use cookies to, among other things, monitor Website usage, customize Website features, identify your computer's operating system and browser, and complete transactions. You can program your computer to warn you each time a cookie is being sent or to refuse cookies altogether. However, without cookies, you may not have access to certain features on the Website.
Producer may also use action tags (also known as web beacons or single pixel gifs) to access cookies and in connection with the services we offer through the Website. An action tag is a small, graphic image placed on a web page that sends a signal when a person visits that web page. We may also use action tags in connection with newsletters and other emails we send to you, to let us know whether and when the email was opened. No Personal Information is transmitted through action tags. Action tags may be associated with cookie information.
How does Producer use Aggregate Information and other non-personally identifiable information collected through the Website?
Aggregate Information collected on the Website may be used and disclosed in any way. For example, we may collect and analyze collected Aggregate Information to determine how many Website Visitors arrived at certain pages of the Website, how long they stayed on those pages and where they went afterwards. This information allows us to determine which pages might be the most interesting to our visitors and enables us to improve their experience on the Website. We also may use Aggregate Information to improve the performance of our Website and to customize the content and layout of our Website pages for you. We may share Aggregate Information with our affiliates. We may also share Aggregate Information with third parties, such as, but not limited to, our advertisers and business partners, for marketing and promotional purposes.
Please note that, while we only use information we find out from tracking Internet Protocol addresses in the aggregate and not to track a specific Internet Protocol address to identify an individual user, we may use such information to identify an individual user if we feel there are or may be safety and/or security issues or to comply with legal requirements.
In addition, we may allow third party service providers, such as, but not limited to, advertisers, website statistics gatherers and others, to use cookies and other technologies to, among other things, serve ads, collect statistics about use of the Website and enable such third parties to record information such as your browser type, Internet Protocol address, which ads your browser has seen, which Website pages you may have been viewing when ads were delivered, your referring URL, your geographic location and other interaction information (but not your name or address). We only deal with third party companies whom we believe share our commitment to privacy and will keep your information secure. Furthermore, in compliance with privacy laws, we may also provide our opt-out lists to non-affiliated third party companies so that they can be suppressed from the communications those companies send on Producer’s behalf.
